Wego is a global supplier of Polycarboxylate
Wego Chemical Group is a leading global supplier and distributor of polymers such as Polycarboxylate. Polycarboxylate can be found under CAS # 9084-06-4 and has the molecluar formula C21H14Na2O6S2. Polycarboxylate is often referred to by its commonly used acronyms, PCX, PXC, and PC, or alternatively by its synonym Sodium Poly (Naphthaleneformaldehyde) Sulfonate.
Polycarboxylate's primary uses are in the manufacturing of construction materials—most notably in the concrete industry—as a superplasticizer. It is technically a Polycarboxylate Ether-Based Superplasticizer (PCE or PCE Superplasticizer). Superplasticizers perform the function of water reduction and dispersion. In concrete mixtures, the addition of a superplasticizer like Polycarboxylate enhances the stregth of the mixture tremendously. Concrete increases in strength when the amount of water decreases relative to the amount of cement in the mixture. With as much as 0.15–0.3% Polycarboxylate added by cement weight, these materials can reduce water content by four tenths. The strength gained from superplasticizers drastically improves the performance of hardening fresh paste, enabling the use of of self-consolidating concrete and high performance concrete. Superplasticizers also help holding different particle types together in mixtures like concrete, as well as improving flow.
As a leading supplier and distributor, Wego provides efficient and reliable logistics management, handling, stocking, and delivery of chemical products like Polycarboxylate, and can offer shipments in multiple packing sizes. Please contact Wego or request a quote or sample of Polycarboxylate today.
